Each Idol is known for something they brought to the show’s career-launching stage. For Fantasia, it was her spirited performances. For Carrie Underwood, it was her southern charm. For Kelly Clarkson it was her huge vocals. But for the show’s 7th season winner David Cook, it’s all of the above – his rocker essence combined with his ability to deliver the big bold vocals and the ladies love him. During the season he wowed the audiences with his stylized performances of hits like Billie Jean, Hello and Always Be My Baby. Today (11.18.08), he releases his self-titled album led by the single Light On which contains those elements that remind fans why they fell in love with him last season.
