Her debut album Shontelligence hit shelves in 2008 and was a great album with singles like T-Shirt and Battle Cry and now she’s gearing up for the release of her second album (as yet untitled) which should be out this Spring. I love how different both the tracks are whilst being so amazing in there own ways. Licky is definitly a fun upbeat song, drowned in talent whilst maintaining to showcase the diverse abilities of shontelle. With the catchy lyrics and steady beat this is bound to be a huge hit across the globe and one i can see still being played in clubs for years to come. Listening to imposible reminded me of the first time i witnessed beyoncé’s ‘listen’. Whilst portraying a story many people will relate to the song has been written beautifully. The fabulous lyrics on the song further showcase Shontelles outstanding vocal ability. There is a real emotional feel to the song and the perfect vocals only contribute to this. Both songs set the way for a huge album! double *pow*
