Your reveiw is spot on, at least in MY opinion. I think that the darker, more gloomy tones you refer to could possibly stem from relationship woes, shoot life in general and it's being reflected in her song choices for this project. Either way I can relate to a few of the songs and they resonate within me in a way most music has failed to do lately. My hat's off to you Sade for always being such a musical Smooth Operator.
