“We were interviewed but never viewed…“
SHOTS FIRED!!! As we all know, XXL recently released their Freshman 2010 list and…. well… a lot of us were scratching our heads from some of the picks on the list. What you DIDN’T know is that Mullage (From The Ground Up Records) was interviewed for that exact list, but when it was released, they were NOT included in the line-up. WHAT GIVES XXL? With the exception of J. Cole and maybe OJ Da Juiceman, there isn’t another rapper on that list that’s had a hit record yet! Check it, I’ve got an exclusive interview with Mullage comin later today that addresses their successes, their haters and the “one-hit-wonder” buzz among other things, but for right now put this BLACK LABEL EXCLUSIVE joint on repeat and prepare for the lesson: CLASS IS IN SESSION!
