What… no Marsha?? I know, I know, I’m never satisfied. Check out the new clip from Wale for his latest single Diary, a heartfelt anthem written to speak to the hearts of damaged lovers. The video is aight, the storyline of the video is decent. I don’t know if this was the strongest track to release as a single but whatever. It’s not my record…. I’d have definitely gone with Beautiful Bliss. Anyway, Diary features former Floetry songstress Marsha Ambrosius on the vocals despite her absence in the visuals and appears on Wale’s Attention Deficit album, in stores now (click here for the review)!
i like the video and like you i think beautiful bliss should have been his next single. that’s like the perfect summer anthem. plus i’m a huge fan of J Cole as well. i wonder why marsha wasn’t in the video. hmmm
also did you peep how he played the light skinned girl in the beginning for the brown skinned girl? i think he did on purpose for backlash he received for the pretty girls video.
