Ne-yo drops another Stargate-produced joint with the ultra-smooth Champagne Life, from his forthcoming album Libra Scale. Can we just crown him the King of Smooth already? Smooth vibe, smooth vocals, and his harmonies are always some of the best! Again on this song I hear some MJ influence, but I’ve learned to accept that from Ne-yo since he always puts out such quality work and never disrespects the King. I have not been disappointed by a Ne-yo album yet and from the looks of things, disappointment is nowhere in the near future…

Great song but Stargate didn’t produce this record. He teamed up with D. DoRohn Gough again; a Compound Producer. the same guy that did Janet Jackson’s Can’t B Good.
