In a stunning tribute to the late King of Pop, Chris Brown was finally granted the stage at the BET Awards to pay homage to his idol, his mentor, a legend gone too soon – Michael Jackson. This was the best moment of the night for me thus far, there should have ALWAYS been a Chris Brown tribute, and though its a shame it took a year for us to see it, it was simply amazing! He opened with Mike’s smooth remix of The Way You Make Me Feel, and his moves were impeccable all the way through the Remember The Time breakdown. The crowning moment was Chris’ closing with the infamous Man In The Mirror. Breaking down into tears onstage, it was evident the impact Michael Jackson had on Chris’ personal life and career. There’s no doubt in my mind about the sincerity of this performance, and it was SOOO POWERFUL. I’m glad he was FINALLY granted a stage to tribute MJ on… may he rest in peace. EXCELLENT JOB CHRIS!
We must all #Salute this dude…Often times we are so judgemental towards others, we all can do as the song says and look in the mirror and make a change.
Chris Brown did a fantastic job and I commend him on his wonderful performance! i always have though that Chris was the only performer that came close to moving like Michael Jackson! Chris, once again THANK YOU for that GREAT performance and I hope to continue to see you performing and acting, cause that is where you belong! What a wonderful comeback! Much luv 2 u Chris!
I’m actually glad that he DIDN’T get to it last year, it made this year’s performance much more powerful!!! Man In The Mirror was an excellent song choice (considering that it is ONLY my favorite MJ song since 2nd grade!)! THAK YOU BET for the pleasure of Chris Brown’s comeback performance!
