In my quest to become familiar with new artist Mike Posner, I ran across this song on his MySpace page. Honestly, I wasn’t too impressed with anything else I heard on there, including his cover of John Mayer’s I Don’t Trust Myself. But this, Bow Chicka Wow Wow stood out for me.

I’m still trying to figure out why there’s so much hype surrounding this guy… Granted, this is the only song I’ve heard by him, but it’s not amazing. Even in this performance, the band pretty much outshines him, it’s a good thing he didn’t perform to a track or this would’ve truly failed.

Everyone should hear this!! On this week’s episode of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, contestant Robert and all-star Kathryn did a contemporary dance routine to this amazing song by Katie Thompson. She put a very soulful spin on Belinda Carlisle’s classic ‘Heaven Is A Place on Earth’.

Cudi fans will have to wait a bit longer for “Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager”, as it suffers yet another delay to its release date (Now set to October 26). In the meantime, check out ‘Mojo So Dope’, a rather monotone track that sounds very similar to much of the work on his debut album.
