One thing is undeniable about Mr. Cee-Lo Green a.k.a. The Lady Killer: he’s an amazing songwriter. That quality is evident on his new single ‘It’s OK‘, from the forthcoming album “The LadyKiller“. On this latest release, Cee-Lo pines over a woman who’s trying to forget him by moving on to the next, but finds the task not as easy as she’d expected. Noticing this, Cee-Lo gives her the green light to let her true feelings show.
Once again, Cee-Lo puts his mastery storytelling skills to use, painting a vivid picture in the mind of his listeners and it’s this ability that I believe will make his new album one of the most respected and beloved releases of the year. He’s come along way since his Dungeon Family days and his musical evolution should be noticed and commended. Be sure to cop it when it hits stores November 8th.
