Sound-Savvy is living The MF Life with Melanie Fiona!! We recently hung out with the songstress backstage on the BET Music Matters tour and she gave us some more info on her upcoming album “The MF Life“, due out this July. As part of her explosive and energetic live show, she also premiered some new material from the forthcoming project, including the song featured in the video below. The new song, ‘Rock Paper Scissors‘ is an emotive ballad about uncertainty in love that plays on the metaphor of the actual game. As you’ll see in the clip, Melanie entertains a male fan by singing the new song just for him in front of a packed house, even taking his hat at one point in the song. ‘Are you gonna crush my heart, cover me, cut me off…‘ Fiona croons on the soulful hook as her band goes all the way in!! She also follows up the song with Cee Lo Green’s ‘Fool For You‘ from his latest album “The Lady Killa“. She talks a bit about the song first and then gets into an amazing performance, check it out!!
