Greetings music lovers! I got a chance to check out Marsha Ambrosius at the BET Music Matters tour this past weekend, when it made its stop in Charlotte, NC. Marsha headlined the show, held at the McGlohon Theater inside Spirit Square, performing hits from her days as a member of award-winning duo Floetry and some of the most loved songs from her solo debut album Late Nights& Early Mornings, in stores now. The clip below captures Marsha returning for an encore and performing Lose Myself, a song penned and previously recorded by Lauryn Hill, covered by Marsha on her new album. Her vocals were amazing and her entire set was packed with energy, including a classic old school hip-hop set and some surprises that kept the crowd entertained. 1st let me start of by saying that I really didn’t think that I would like Marsha without Natalie(Floetry’s counterpart)…with that being said….(clears throat)….I FREAKING LOVE THIS SONG!!!!….I can honestly say that now i’ve been turned into a true “Marshian”!!…and you know whats a true testament to a great artist??….is their ability to sing just as well ‘live”……Thanx again for the vid S-S!!!……Keep doing yo thang!…..
