It was a packed house in the Super Lounge where Eric Benet took the stage for two performance sets at the 2011 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The R&B crooner performed for an audience of hundreds (mostly swooning ladies) and let his smooth voice and sweet falsetto sing them under his spell. Benet performed hits reaching as far back as his first album, and even performed many of his more recent singles as well. As long as I’ve been a fan of Eric Benet, I think this was only my second time seeing him live but believe me when I say – his talent is real and his vocals are amazing!
