And in a nod to reality show irony, the first American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson performs the new single ‘What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)’ from her newly released 5th album “Stronger” (click to read the review). Against an amazingly colorful and hand-drawn backdrop, Clarkson kicked off the Top 9 Results show by belting out the empowering anthem with live vocals, preceding a dramatic double-elimination night that resulted in the departure of girl-group Lakoda Rayne and the show’s oldest contestant, 60-year old LeRoy Bell.
