There’s a new star in town and her name is Melanie Amaro!! After weeks of auditions, an elimination, call back and the grueling live shows, songstress Melanie Amaro rises to the top, beating out runner-up Josh Krajcik and finalist (only God and the judges know how) Chris Rene. Emotions flew everywhere with the announcement of Amaro’s win, and the fumbling host Steve Jones couldn’t hardly find ways to improvise around all the excitement. To cap off her win, Melanie gave an emotional performance of one of her biggest songs of the season: Beyonce’s ‘Listen‘, a perfect finish for Season 1.
I’m pretty sure I’d be somewhere protesting right now if that sucky, talentless recovering addict Chris Rene had won. I STILL don’t understand how he made it to the finals but I’m pretty sure it involved dollar signs in someone’s eyes.
