Back in October, Dawn Richard released her new single, the heartbreak anthem ‘Save Me From U‘ (listen and download) and now releases the video for that song, seen below. Lyrically this is some of her best work, but then Dawn never disappoints. The video is mostly performance shots of Dawn in different scenes and also includes some sensual shots of the former Danity Kane singer. This year, Dawn plans to release her first major solo album “GoldenHeart“, this is the first single from that project. Love the song, the video is okay to me. I can’t wait to hear more, Dawn is an artist we’ve been following very heavily because I just love her style and her sound. This will be her year!!
The lyrics to this song are so deep! It’s probably alot deeper than we think because Dawn even stated herself that every song on her mix-tape & future albums that sound like love songs aren’t actually about love or necessarily love between a man & woman! It could be her talking about the feeling love in general, her relationship she feels she has with music or even GOD!!!!!
