Music legend Madonna delivered the halftime show at SuperBowl XLVI with an amazing stage set full of marching band members, a backing choir and some of her famous pals. The 53-year old performer was joined onstage by LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A. and Cee-Lo as she performed on an elaborate stage with a few pretty slick outfit changes along the way. She opens her set with Vogue, and continues with her previous smash Music. Then she transitions into a set with Nicki and M.I.A. for a performance of their new collaborative single ‘Give Me All Your Love‘ and closes with Cee-Lo on ‘Like A Prayer‘
Overall, I just expected more. I mean, she’s Madonna. I wanted to hear at least a medley of her classics in addition to her new single. On top of that, her performance seemed to lack energy and her lip synch job was totally obvious. All that aside, the entire show looked and sounded great but I just wish there had been more energy and more notable appearances and songs in the performance.
