Dirty Money ft. Drake – Lovin’ You No More

Posted by Mack On August - 27 - 2010

If Dirty Money’s album ever ACTUALLY gets released, this track may appear on it. Loving You No More features Young Money front-man Drake. It’s a pretty nice song with some good vocals from Dawn and Kalenna. This album has been pushed back more than Ne-yo’s hairline. Diddy’s auto-tune heavy vocals aren’t too bad on this track. Last I heard, the album was set for release around mid-September, but without a new single in rotation or a video, I’m doubting that. Oh well, we’ll keep waiting.

Sound-Savvy Says: Diddy took some lessons from Drake on this one, now if he’d just release the damn album…

VIDEO: Drake ft. Lil Wayne – Miss Me

Posted by Mack On August - 19 - 2010

Dreezy drops the video for Miss Me, one of the hottest tracks from Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later. Wayne makes a cameo via a superimposed pre-recorded clip of him performing his verse. I think it’s safe to say the streets miss Wayne a little while he’s gone and Drizzy Drake misses him a lot. Drake is set to perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on September 12. Wayne won’t be there of course but I do expect Drake to set off some fireworks in the place…

Props to UMD on the vid.

Sean Garrett ft. Drake – Feel Love

Posted by Mack On August - 19 - 2010

WOW, this is one of the better tracks I’ve heard from Sean Garrett recently. Drake jumps on a verse on Feel Love, the latest leak from Garrett’s forthcoming The Inkwell mixtape, set for release next week. It’s a nice collab from these two. Garrett’s been reportedly working on a brand new album, which I’m sure we’ll hear more about after this mixtape. Read the rest of this entry »

NEW MUSIC: Drake – Messages From You

Posted by Mack On August - 6 - 2010

Drake has announced that he’s releasing a totally R&B mixtape and Messages From You is the first cut from that untitled project. To be totally honest, Messages From You sounds waaayyyy too much like his earlier joint Houstatlantavegas from the So Far Gone mixtape. Drake’s singing voice has never really impressed me all that much but I won’t knock this new project til I’ve tried it. Stay tuned for more forthcoming details… Read the rest of this entry »

NEW JOINT: Lil Wayne ft. Drake – Right Above It

Posted by Mack On August - 5 - 2010

Nice new joint from Dreezy. Young Money’s two head honchos spit some hot fiyah on Right Above It. It’s set to appear on a new EP (containing 10 songs) from Lil Wayne, I’m Not A Human Being which is set for release on September 28 (Wayne’s birthday). It’s actually a pretty dope record, Wayne sounds coherent and delivers some nice rhymes, as does Drake. Kane Beatz on production, check it… Read the rest of this entry »

NEW MUSIC: Drake – I’m Ready For Ya

Posted by Mack On August - 2 - 2010

Before you get all riled up over this new music from Drake, give it a listen first… sounds like a ‘I’m Ready For You’ is a reference track for a female artist, not sure who though. I could hear Ciara gettin’ it in over this beat or even DTP’s Shareefa since she’s on her way back. Either way, it sounds like a potential hit. Drake’s been riding the wave since the release of his album Thank Me Later which STILL holds a spot in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums charts. Check it… Read the rest of this entry »

Drake returns the feature favor by appearing on Bun B.’s latest joint Put It Down, from the forthcoming album Trill OG, set to hit stores August 3. Produced by Boi-1Da, this joint is a decent track and made it’s premiere via Bun B.’s Twitter account today. Trill OG will feature appearances from T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti and plenty more. Listen and download after the jump… Read the rest of this entry »

This is one of those summer night type joints… ridin around the city, top down warm air flowin, sexy lady in the passenger seat. Aston Martin Music will appear on Teflon Don when it hits stores July 20. So far this year, Eminem had the best rap album, but Ross could very well come along and change that. Drake goes in on this joint too, which features a duetted hook from Young Money’s new soldier alongside the incomparable Chrisette Michele. Check it… Read the rest of this entry »

Drake’s made his rounds the past two weeks promoting his high-charting #1 debut album Thank Me Later. Most recently, he appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show and the skit these two produced is nothing short of HILARIOUS!! This video finds the two gents making raps from celebrity tweets.
