So though he’s a newcomer to us here in the States, the other side of the pond is very familiar with Mr. Cruz. Break Your Heart is a single from his sophomore album, which will be his first US release when it his shelves later this year. The song itself has a strong electronic/dance feel to it, very easy to groove to. Ludacris pokes fun at Tiger Woods on this new joint about the latest trend in cell phone use - sexting. By definition, sexting is when you send a sexually suggestive or explicit message via SMS. I can’t front, this isn’t his most clever of songs… the beat is cool, but I’ve known Luda to KILL beats like that with some slick wordplay but this ain’t it. Luckily, it’s not set to appear on the upcoming Battle of the Sexes album, but may be a bonus track.
