Ladies and gentlemen, meet Taio Cruz. He’s a UK Pop Star with a lot of credit to his name having headlined his own tour, released a gold-selling album AND won a BRIT Award. So though he’s a newcomer to us here in the States, the other side of the pond is very familiar with Mr. Cruz. Break Your Heart is a single from his sophomore album, which will be his first US release when it his shelves later this year. The song itself has a strong electronic/dance feel to it, very easy to groove to. He made history this past week as his song shot from #53 to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts so if you’re unaware, get savvy…

NEW MUSIC: Ludacris Is Into ‘Sexting’?
Ludacris pokes fun at Tiger Woods on this new joint about the latest trend in cell phone use - sexting. By definition, sexting is when you send a sexually suggestive or explicit message via SMS. I can’t front, this isn’t his most clever of songs… the beat is cool, but I’ve known Luda to KILL beats like that with some slick wordplay but this ain’t it. Luckily, it’s not set to appear on the upcoming Battle of the Sexes album, but may be a bonus track.
VIDEO: Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj – My Chick Bad
We are two weeks away from the release of Ludacris’ seventh studio album Battle of the Sexes, which will see a line-up of some of today’s greatest female rappers and R&B singers. Check out the video for his latest single My Chick Bad, which features Nicki Minaj in her Barbie attire with a Freddy Krueger twist. Decent video, not his best but definitely notable. Need more bad chicks…

Ludacris ft. Nicki Minaj – My Chick Bad
Nicki Minaj is all over the place these days? Personally, I don’t think she’s that great of a rapper, but she’s oversaturating us to make us think she really is. No bueno. Still, Ludacris always puts out heat, so he actually upgrades HER swag a bit by puttin her on this new cut from his forthcoming Battle of the Sexes album. Dope beat, Kim woulda killed it though… #imjustsayin Read the rest of this entry »

Now Luda’s done it again, this time turning the track over to Ciara and Pitbull for a 404-305 collab. The original version of the song will appear on Luda’s Battle of the Sexes album, due out in March. Listen after the jump… Read the rest of this entry »
Ludacris ft. Rick Ross and Twista – How Low (REMIX)
Rick Ross and Twista join Luda on the remix to his new club banger How Low from the forthcoming Battle of the Sexes album with Shawnna. It’s just a dope ass remix, simple as that. “Album numero siete, get ready for the Battle of the Sexes” – Luda! Read the rest of this entry »
VIDEO: Ludacris – How Low
How Low is the latest in a long line of infectious Ludacris singles. It’s also the latest joint from his forthcoming Battle of the Sexes album with DTP’s leading lady Shawnna. Luda keeps it crunk as always in this clip, but the real appeal is the ladies, they get reeeeaaaallll low! Read the rest of this entry »
Justin Bieber – Baby (Feat. Ludacris)
Call me late but I’m just getting hip to the hype of Justin Bieber. Here’s the quick rundown: He’s 15, signed by Usher, and is sweeping female teenybopper fans off their wittle feets. Baby is the first single from the second part of his debut album, which is set to be released in March. This is the resurgence of bubblegum pop, innocent teenage puppy love, even Ludacris tones it down on his verse. It’s just okay to me… then again, his fans (and demographic) are half my age… Read the rest of this entry »
