Normally I don’t post clips like this, but these two have just laid a cover of one of my favorite songs OF ALL TIME: Brokenhearted by Brandy and Wanya Morris. The great thing is that both of them have amazing voices and really work the song out nicely. Since I’m such a fan of the original I think this should be slower and more true to the original to give their vocals a chance to really work it out, but this version ain’t bad at all! Sammie – Forever
On December - 14 - 2009
When he’s not blasting bloggers, Sammie actually makes some nice music. I’m diggin this new Cornaboyz-produced joint. He’s still working on his new album Coming of Age, but this joint may appear on the new EP It’s Time set to drop early next year.

Sammie feat. Yung Joc – Body Rock
On April - 18 - 2009
Hot single! This song has potential to be a hit in the clubs, on the radio and in the streets. Sammie’s all grown up now, and I can see this video incorporating a hot dance breakdown. Body Rock is a single off Sammie’s third studio album, Coming Of Age, scheduled for release later this year. His last album was actually pretty nice, but heavily slept on. This could be a big single for Sammie and re-ignite his career in R&B. I’m ready to hear some more.
Video: Soulja Boy Tellem feat. Sammie – Kiss Me Through The Phone
On December - 23 - 2008
Aight, I can’t front… I hated this joint at first, but the video has given me a different perspective on it and I actually like the video. Though the concept for the song seems very juvenile, it’s respectable and I had to remember that Soulja Boy is still just a kid. At least he’s a kid that knows how to pick some nice video chicks! Kiss Me Through The Phone is the second single from Soulja Boy’s sophomore album iSouljaBoyTellem which is in stores now. It features former child R&B star Sammie who made an attempt to comeback a couple years back and I guess is still on the way back. The song may have grown on me, but make no mistake: this is not a recommendation to buy the album! Maybe I’ll review it…
