T-Pain has really grown on me and I must admit Take Your Shirt Off is definitely one of his better joints. With guest appearances from Petey Pablo, George Clinton and Rick Ros, T-Pain parties it up collegiate style with frat boys and girls including most of the Black Greek Letter Organizations (Alphas, Deltas, Ques, Sigmas, etc.. Take Your Shirt Off is the official first single from T-Pain’s forthcoming album Revolver which should see release in March 2010.

I don’t wanna be the one to start speculation, but Shawnna is reppin Nappy Boy pretty hard on this track, not to mention the fact that T-Pain introduces her as the newest member… *eyebrow raises* Last I checked, Shawnna was signed to Disturbin’ Tha Peace (Ludacris) and was working on a joint album with Luda (Battle of the Sexes), which has been delayed quite a bit, but Luda told me firsthand that the album was about 95% done and should be out soon. A friend of mine put me on to this joint yesterday and it’s not the hottest pop song I’ve heard, but I can get with it. T-Pain’s certainly been putting in work lately, stepping in to throw some heat on Body Language. Personally, I’ve been a fan of Jesse McCartney since Beautiful Soul. You can find this song on the re-release to Jesse’s third album Departure. The album was re-released in April as a Recharged edition and features the original version of this song.
