Yes, but that’s relative. Black History is referred to more along the lines of those who spoke out for our equal rights and opportunities. Though BIG was a spokesperson for the hood through his music (which is why my answer to this question is “yes”), he wasn’t as vocal from a political standpoint in terms of directly confronting capitol hill. So it can be looked at from several different angles, but I still believe that he’s as much a part of Black History as the next person.
