Ladies and gentlemen, meet Taio Cruz. He’s a UK Pop Star with a lot of credit to his name having headlined his own tour, released a gold-selling album AND won a BRIT Award. So though he’s a newcomer to us here in the States, the other side of the pond is very familiar with Mr. Cruz. I must say, I was very impressed with this video for Drop The World by Lil Wayne featuring Eminem. Cinematically this joint was kinda creative, much different from the run-of-the-mill videos Wayne’s put out lately. The chaotic and mildly apocalyptic vibe of the video is reminiscent of Run This Town, and gives even more life to the wild guitar rifts and vibe of the song itself. Drop The World is the latest single from Lil Wayne’s new album Rebirth, in stores now…

Nivea, dear… what is your motivation? This song is type crappy and the video… It’s clear that either Wayne appeared in it for “free” or you spent your entire budget on his cameo. Here we go again… Soulja Boy takes a hot line and (once again) doesn’t make it a hot song. His video even looks corny. There’s just no energy put into this.
