GET SAVVY: Ishues -Problems (Issues)

Posted by Mack of Sound-Savvy On 2:17 PM

I love it when friends put me on to some new music, especially something that engages the mind, like this brother's content. Shouts to T. Britt for connecting me with Ishues, an "activist who just happens to rap a bit". When I listened to this joint, I was immediately captivated by his sense of social consciousness and his willingness, even as an independent artist, to forgo the mainstream tactics and really speak from his heart. Stay tuned, you WILL hear more about this artist on Sound-Savvy, but in the meantime, take a listen to this track, really pay attention, and let me know how u feelin it...

Oh, yeah and I got a special Sound-Savvy mixtape for the first person to leave a comment with the name of the voice on the sample AND the year in which it was delivered... How savvy are YOU?
