Video: Letoya Luckett - Not Anymore

After the success of her self-titled debut in 2006, Letoya Luckett returns with her sophomore album, Lady Love, set to hit stores in May. Not Anymore is the first single from that forthcoming project, an anthem for ladies tired of playing second fiddle to a no-good man. This video clip flashes back to the 60's music era and features Lance Gross as the love interest. Although she looks nice in the clip, it comes off to me as a cross between Beyonce's Dreamgirls and Solange's video for I Decided, neither of which is a good comparison given the history of Letoya and the Knowles clan... I respect the fact that she tried something different, but is it really different? Soooo many artists have revived the 60's from Beyonce, to Christina Aguilera, to Andre 3000. Let's give that era a break!

I'm not really sure why they decided to do a 60's era themed video. I wasn't really impressed. I do think she looks fabulous and I loved the shoes in the performance shot.
