Lupe's camp went ballistic when Shining Down leaked, so I'm not sure what to expect with this one. I embrace Lupe's "outside-the-box" approach to hip-hop, and Fire is a shining example of that. The Jimi Hendrix sample gives it that edge but it's still such a hard track and lyrically its clear to see why he's among the best. The official tracklisting for Lupe's new album Lasers hasn't been released so I'm not sure if this is on it or not. Regardess, this track = FIRE!
