Album: Carter 3
Artist: Weezy
Release Date: 6.10.08

Dwayne Carter has returned with his highly anticipated Carter 3 album. Some folks have been yearning for the Syrup drinking maestro for some time now. Releasing "Lollipop" as his first single, I must say at first listen, it didn't catch my attention. However, after hearing it on the radio a million & one times, and with its catchy beat, I must say its my favorite.

Featuring collabos from Babyface, Sean Carter, & Robin Thicke just to name a few, he proves he's a versatile artist. He paints a picture with his lyrics. Some might argue he has fallen off due to his addiction, but if you ask me, he's at his best lyrically when the Sizzurp is his system.
For the avid fans of Mr. Carter, if you held high expectations of this album, you might were let down. It's definately nothing like the Carter 2. That series flowed fluidly like the Nile river. It might be my opinion but the Carter 3 jumps around like a mexican jumping bean. Overall, the Carter 3 is a mediocre album.
Some of my favorite tracks are: 3 Peat, Mr. Carter, Comfortable, Tie My Hands, & Misunderstood, just to name a few. I'm glad he's back on the scene despite the mediocrity of the album. His flow is like my crack, i enjoy listening, because it gets me high!
