Video: Omarion ft. Gucci Mane - I Get It In
I wasn't really feelin the song too much, either version honestly. I just think Omarion sounds too much like Lil Wayne. And Gucci, well... moving on. The video is okay, but it's not impressive either. Especially not now, when I Can Transform Ya is the hottest dance video out right now - not a good followup O. Anyway, I Get It In is the first single from his new album Ollusion. When he was here in the QC a few weeks ago, Omarion talked about his split from Young Money, stating that he wanted the opportunity to start his own label and have ownership over his music and other artists. So begins Starrworld Entertainment, and Ollusion will be the debut release on that imprint, available January 10.

Hoodies? We OFF THAT! Fashion may repeat itself, but the circular style world has not come back around to hoodies for grownups... at least not yet! Omarion is determined to stand out from Young Money now that he's no longer a part. So why does every track sound like a Young Money song? He's more concerned with this rap-sing stuff than actual songs. Here's my two cents: Omarion, you're not Weezy but you're also not Mario. That doesn't mean you have to try to combine the two... it ain't workin for you. Hoodie? naaaahhhhh....

If this song sounds familiar to ya, it's because it is. We gave you this track already, but Lil Wayne was on it (click here to listen). Since then, Omarion has split from Young Money and split Wayne from the track, replacing him with... Gucci Mane? BURR! This is reportedly the first single from Omarion's 3rd solo album Ollusion (how creative...) due out November 24th. That'll be pushed back, there's no way he wants to compete with Diddy AND Mary J. Blige. He's not B2K anymore, remember?And yes, that damn 'BURR' sound is equally as annoying as OJ Da Juiceman's 'AYE'. I just can't fathom... never mind. Here's the song...

Lil Wayne is definitely in the running for the Oversaturation award, but I guess that's what happens when you're the hot thing for the moment. Omarion, on the other hand, disappeared for a minute after that last flop of an album with Bow Wow that shall remain nameless for now. I've never been a huge fan of Omarion as a solo artist; his albums never moved me, but he's had a few nice songs. Comfort is his latest, and I'm kinda feelin it; it's a nice breezy joint. And speakin' of Breezy, isn't it peculiar that Omarion picked now to resurface? I can't blame him though, he didn't stand a chance against Chris...
