And in the 'sitchoassdown' moment of the night, Lil Mama interrupted this epic performance of Empire State of Mind by Jay-Z with Alicia Keys by waltzing her uninvited ass onto the stage. Jay-Z's response: "So you're T-Paining now, huh?", a reference to T-Pain's uninvited appearance on stage during Jay-Z's Hot 97 Summer Jam set. Prior to Lil Mama's bad etiquette this performance was amazing, Alicia Keys looked and sounded great and Jay-Z was truly on his A-Game here. EPIC song, EPIC performance.

Arguably one of the best performances of the night (aside from the MJ tribute), Pink soared high for her performance of Sober from the Funhouse album. She shocked me by showing up with her date, Carey Hart, who is also her ex-husband - the couple split earlier this year. Even still they maintained a friendship and it seems their dating again. This performance however was amazingly creative and allowed Pink to embrace her acrobatic side. Not to mention the fact that Sober is one of my favorite songs...

If you've been to her current I Am... tour, this performance is nothing new, save for the prancing army of single ladies behind Beyonce. Although her gesture for Taylor Swift wins for classiest moment of the night, this concept is unoriginal and recycled. She used the same concept a few years ago when she performed her single Me, Myself and I with another army of single women.
